Known by all 3 titles, Cool Sculpting is a safe, permanent and non-invasive way to remove fat cells safely and effectively from the body, without surgery or downtime. Cool Sculpting works through a process of apoptosis. The fat cells are damaged by the application of cold (cryo) therapy and are then naturally metabolised through your lymphatic system. The results are similar to liposuction but as the treatment is non-surgical there is little or no downtime.
Whether your concern is your tummy, love handles or upper arms Cool Sculpting treats areas that have been unresponsive to diet or exercise or those remaining areas after a weight loss plan. Fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than the surrounding tissues meaning there is no damage to the area. You may experience some redness, numbness and slight sensitivity just after your treatment but nothing long lasting. Your practitioner will carry out a full consultation before your treatment and a plan can be discussed. The treatment removes up to 20% – 30% of fat in the area
